Nature Study #2

Girl and unicorn, For Robin Hood, The magic of reading

Girl and Unicorn.

This picture is nice and cheer full. This is one of the last pictures I did while listening to Robin Hood.

This is a picture of a girl reading a book. It shows magic and fun flowing from the book.

Magic, Leaf, Off to school.

This was a present for my Mother. The colours came out really well. The figure is good, one of my best pictures.

My brother drew this. The leaf is really good, and the colour scheme is awesome.

Another present for my Mom. I did this one with Beeswax crayons.

Busy Mom, Ballet dancer, At the library

This picture was made to be a conversation-piece. Its up to you to decide whats going on.

This picture was originally made for a contest. But it turned out so nice I'm thinking of keeping it!

This picture, like the top one, is a conversation-piece. Decide whats going on! Make your own story!

Nature Study #1

Arctic Wolf at night.

This is a picture I drew using "paint" I got the pattern for drawing the wolf in a How to draw video. This was extremely fun to draw.

Lady Elinore.

This is a How to Draw page. This is how I draw my people. (You can use the same principles to draw men. (Just draw legs instead of a skirt.)) This particular pattern is for a character I named Lady Elinore. I hope all my future blog readers try this out.

P.S. Click on the image to make it bigger. You can do this for all of my pictures.

Bouncy Ball.

This is another image I did on "paint". (I have been very busy!) This was fun to draw. There is lots of colour in this one. I did the ball in the colours of the rainbow. (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet.)

In the Jungle.

Here is another image I did using the "Paint" settings on my computer. This is of a Monkey swinging on some vines. The back ground is two different shades of green. I'm quite proud of this one, especially because I find it hard to draw using "paint". Its much easier using a pencil.
I'll post again soon,

Lake and hill

I drew this using the paint setting on my computer. I don't have much to say about this picture, except that it was fun to draw. Also, it is awesome drawing with bright colors!

Feast, Spinning supplies, Weaver, For to write a letter

This is a  picture of a woman sitting at a table, on the shelf is a basket of gold coins, 7 books, two balls of yarn, and a jar. On the table is a jug of lemonade, a pot of pea soup, and an empty bowl. This was really fun to draw, and, like the Medieval Woman with Medallion. I used really vibrant colours.

This is a picture of some spinning supplies. I drew this for my Mother. (She loves to everything to do with yarn, spinning, weaving, knitting, and crochet.)

Here is a woman weaving. The hardest part of this picture was finding enough patience to colour each individual book.

This picture was very fun to make. It features a girl going over to her desk "For to write a letter". The shelf above the desk is filled with stationary. (Extra quills, paper, and ink.) I loved drawing this. I hope everyone who reads my blog appreciates art as much as me.

Cheers,

Hunter, Woman with broom, Medieval woman with medallion, The poisoning

This is something quick I drew for my Grammy. (I was showing off a bit.) I had to draw it really quick because my Grammy was about to go. Showed her how I draw my figures, (Starting with basic shapes, erasing extra lines, and adding details.)
This is a picture I drew while listening to Robin Hood. This was fun to draw. (Tip: Purple and blue look great together.)
This is a picture of a medieval looking woman. The hood makes her look like a medieval peasant, but the medallion in her hand indicates that she is not entirely without money. She is holding a bouquet of flowers in her right hand. I used vibrant colours for this picture. Pencil crayons are great!
This is a picture of how I think Macbeth and Lady Macbeth should have done it. No blood, No daggers to be disposed of, and no mess.

Royal family.

This is a royal family. The Mother, the Father, and the fidgeting little girl. This was very fun to draw. I think its awesome designing dresses and hairdos. I like putting the expressions on their faces and adding colour.

In a word: I LOVE TO DRAW!

Valentine's day.

What a great Valentine's day! I hope you're having as much fun as me! (My wonderful Mom made the card.)

Wednesday 13 February 2013

Maid Marian

I drew this while listening to my Dad read Greene's The Adventures of Robin Hood. (By the way I recommend reading it.) I like to draw while my Dad reads. This is only the first of several pictures drawn during Rodin Hood readings. As my Dad keeps reading I'll make more of these pictures. (And I'll post the good ones.) The media of this one is pencil crayons.
Thanks for reading my posts.

Nature Study #3

Sometimes I do nature studies using observation, field guides, or just my memory. Here is a recent one:

This ones Labeled number three because I have two I made before it. (Currently stuck on the living room wall.) I'll have to post those ones sometime...

Mythical Creatures?

Mythical Creatures? Sometimes I wonder... They are too REAL to be mythical.

Swamp Thing & Arcane

Here's a one page comic I did for my Dad a while ago. He 's a big fan of Swamp Thing!
It is very colourful, I drew it with markers from Woozles. I'll post again soon.

Unicorn

This is a picture of my unicorn star. The media is standard crayola crayons. I drew this at a friend's house, I love to draw!
I'll post again soon,

Witch Woman & Green Man

Some recent beeswax crayon and watercolour art: The witch women's media is beeswax crayons on paper.
The green man's media is watercolour on paper. I enjoy drawing people, and these were especially fun to draw. I love the witch women's hair, the green man was harder. Thank you for viewing my posts.
